Customs Department Notification No. 93/2568 (New Edition)

This Notification shall enter into force from 2 June 2025 onwards.

New Preferential Tariff Codes: A total of six (6) codes have been introduced:

J1P, J2P, J3P = Applicable for CO in PDF & CO in Paper format
J1E, J2E, J3E = Applicable for Electronic Certificate of Origin (e-CO)

Note: As of now, the e-CO system is not yet available. Please stay tuned for further updates.

Therefore, Japan will issue only CO in PDF format for Thailand at this stage.

️ Importers must use the new preferential tariff codes as stated in this Notification for import declarations made on or after 2 June 2025.

In all cases, the applicable import duty rates shall be verified according to Tariff Schedule 1 and Schedule 2, as prescribed by the Ministry of Finance Notification dated 28 December 2021.
