Transit
Transshipment refers to the transfer of goods from one mode of transport that has arrived in the country to another mode of transport that will carry the goods out of the country all within the same port or location and under the supervision of customs at the same customs checkpoint.
The transportation both begins and ends outside of the country, and the goods are not utilized or consumed domestically during the process.
Transit refers to the movement of goods through Thailand from one port or customs checkpoint where the goods enter the country to another port or checkpoint where the goods are exported out of the country, under the supervision of the Customs Department.
The transportation both originates and ends outside of Thailand, and the goods are not intended for domestic use. However, the goods may be transshipped to another mode of transport, stored temporarily in a bonded warehouse, repackaged, or transferred into different containers or transport methods to facilitate further movement.
