Importing Pets Accompanied by Passengers (HAND CARRIED)
1️ Upon arrival in the Kingdom of Thailand at Suvarnabhumi Airport or other international airports, passengers must complete immigration procedures, collect their baggage and pets (e.g., dogs, cats), and proceed to the next step.
2️ Passengers must take their pets, along with all required documents, to the Animal Quarantine Station at the airport to request permission to import the animals into the Kingdom.
After the stations veterinary officer inspects the documents and the pets and confirms they are free from contagious diseases or disease vectors, an Animal Import Permit (Form R.7) will be issued.
3️ Passengers must present the pets and the Animal Import Permit (Form R.7) issued by the Department of Livestock Development to Customs officers at the Goods to Declare channel, pay any applicable duties and taxes, and obtain the official receipt.
